An important part of the Club’s mission is education. Enjoy these instructional and informational videos and brochures created by members of the Club.

Community

Learn more about the projects that the Club supports and the process to apply for a grant request. Deadline for grant requests is October 15th.

Lectures

Doug W. Tallamy, Ph.D. will speak on “Nature’s Best Hope: A New Approach to Conservation that Starts in Your Yard” on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.  Lecture will be held at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church and is open to the public and free of charge.

Florescence

The biennial Garden Club of America flower show, Florescence Time, held April 16-17, 2019 was an enormous success.  Enjoy photos of Florescence events.

The Garden Club of America

The purpose of the Garden Club of America is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening, to share the advantages of association by means of educational meetings, conferences, correspondence and publications, and to restore, improve, and protect the quality of the environment through educational programs and action in the fields of conservation and civic improvement.

The Garden Club of Houston has been a member of The Garden Club of America since 1932.
