We are offering a collection of six native plants in one-gallon containers. All of our offerings, grown from seed by GCH, are well-suited for Houston area gardens. Each pre-selected plant collection includes a variety of bloom colors, shapes, and bloom times to support our native insects, butterflies, bees, birds, etc. Plant your natives together or blend them among existing plants in your yard; they are also great for esplanades, medians, and school gardens. Mostly sun preferred. These hardy plants might die back in a cold winter, but should reemerge in spring. Detailed growing instructions included.
Remember – one native plant in your garden is good, but planting multiple native plants of many varieties is OUTSTANDING and is a great way to support nature in an urban environment, even in a small space. Native plants are so much easier to grow than fussy, non-native plants!
