Amaryllis

This is a versatile bulb for the Houston area. It has multiple blooms atop tall sturdy stems. Colors range from deep red to pure white, many varieties are also striped. It is easy to grow in a container or in the ground, where it will naturalize in our climate. Amaryllis can be forced in water. It makes a perfect gift for a novice or the expert gardener.
