Description
A close cousin to the beloved Anacacho Orchid Tree, this Mexican native puts on a long, showy summer show! Delicate, orchid-like white flowers bloom from mid-summer all the way until frost, drawing in butterflies and hummingbirds throughout the season. Its distinctive butterfly-shaped leaves add ornamental interest even when not in bloom. A large shrub or small multi-trunked tree, it typically grows 10′-15′ tall and is quite drought tolerant once established. Full sun to part shade & good drainage.
